Title: Sports' Day 2008-

- After labour day…
- Little morning throws
- Stormy assembly; on the pitch. Wth.
- 400m; 56 secs! 4th place
- 4 by 400m; 5th
- 8 by 200m; (a) Yu Hao’s shoes. Ultra light!
(b) same formation as heats, just that sash took over Glenn.
(c) practised passing baton to Natalie
(d) took baton from nanas in second lane.
(e) closed down from 20 to 10 metres. Real sprinting!
(f) sash took his time, didn’t want to burn out. first medal!
- Frisbee match one - t29 (a) fight for Megan.
(b) “first tactic”
(c) proud man-marking. 7-0.
(d) against fat Gabriel.
- t9 match (a) “friendly” game. 4-2.
(b) zi yi’s poor marking and throwing.
(c) l8r tag kubo. Dada didn’t mark him well.
(d) executed the H-code.
(e) fought against tarik
(f) force foreside, mark backside.
(g) Down the line pass, whoosh!
(h) unbalanced pass to Genevieve.
(i) aaron’s comments, what joke!
- tiny breaks in between; tried to join Angeline. She avoided, I guess.
- t8 match (a) reserves match. Stood aside as coach. Shouted for markings.
(b) kj defended as last man. 9-0
- t33 match (a) cursed and swore at poor arrangement.
(b) megan got scared!
(c) next pitch
(d) 2pts tired. Opp. guys cut in and out, nice play. Failed to contain chris. Screamed when we scored the first point. Snatched disc with boey. chong kai sub.
(d) attacker sub for defender. More loopholes.
(f) opp. guys faithfully marked us.
(g) gene didn’t hear my call for marking.
(h) kj missed the last attack.
(i) ck didn’t mark chris well enough. Saw him catch the disc right in front of my face.
(j) lost 4-3 in semis. Plastered a smile at handshake. Thought when vic shook my hand I should have felt honoured, but my hands were so fragile and allowed her to squeeze with a comforting smile. No effect on me.
(k) who else will do hiphip hooray for us!?
(k) we still should have met them in the final.
- t28 match (a) thought Nicole lek was playing 33, so advised the tactic.
(b) turned out they were playing against us.
(c) full force for victory.
(d) first few points were tightly marked.
(e) the one I was marking said this, I don’t know where I’ve seen ya before. “friendly, no rough play” with handshake. Joke.
(f) made two or three hammers to tall ppl.
(g) made five nice pulls, danced my way to opponents.
(h) at 8-0 wore kj’s cool beige nike cap.
(i) last attack intercepted Nicole, saw it coming.
(j) lost the one point when I didn’t mark the last guy well. Oops.
- soccer. Heard it’s a final freak loss. Heard there was tension between 15 and 16. Medal’s fine!
- netball. 3rd/4th loss. Badly. Tessa was accurate. Reported by gab. Too bad. Ironic.
- eco-intelligence. John/shaine vs maple/ lizzy/ wireless mobile broadband/ brains put tgt. Heard 33 won. We had 2nd.
- sat in front beside the speaker…
- collect prize for 8 by 200. Shawty ho’s comments; no wonder don’t win 2nd. Haha. Iz gave the sigh look. Pushed to walk out first.
- didn’t get medal for Frisbee match. Covered my face, leaving my eyes open, and faced down. Gene just tapped my back. Wanted to force tears out, but decided to wait for final results.
- worried for best class… so many other classes won 1st and 2nd for games, track, etc. SECOND BEST FOR EVERYTHING!
- on our way to iron man. Tess looked pretty, shan’s classmate Nicole aw seemed scary.
- ps john n dada. They were angry. Nanas got worried… carls’ junior. Not junior at all! Sash had his waiting card ‘33’, yuhao read his watch, 33!
- iron man, rather cool to have afgan context. Nice overall story outline. Loved the last part; the truth is,… I’m iron man. But the way reporters stood up looked ridiculous!
- wanted to ask her out, but sigh. Not my day! no mood to abandon my championship class!
