A step into a roomThe room of light and blindness.
I lifted my head.
A sense of eternity and halo filled my heart.
Someone in black looked towards me
As if she had been waiting for ages.
Within seconds a man in white appeared beside her
And the barrier between all of us
Were merely the table with a good ten pieces of paper.
"Oh no, two on one," was the instant message.
On the defensive end, nothing seemed interesting in this lit up battlefield.
But the welcoming smile and respectful handshake kept my nerves working.
A little.
And so heaven-hell game commenced.
The dark side unleashed her first attacks.
I had heard of these 'y' moves before
As well as the shields warriors had used over time.
Subconsciously I blocked
With the hand-made one prepared minutes earlier.
As much as I hated to bore others,
I polished the building's pillars
Much more than I ever did for my shoes.
Inside out, there was a huge dilemma;
Whether to laugh at such poor acting
Or feel disgusted by this unnatural self.
In this storm I tried bringing new gadgets to fight back,
Only to find those creatures immune to them.
Instead more came flying in.
Of the two the angel seemed more comfortable to target.
But looks are deceiving, as they say.
He appeared more friendly
But his lines were far more deadly;
Tone told it all.
Perhaps my only saviour was the director,
Or maybe crude language.
But every move made was flanked with last bursts of fire
Which is one of the main reasons 23 was the number of the day.
I took too much time
And it would have been my second biggest problem
Had I not mentioned misunderstanding as my theme.
If I never get to this building ever again,
The major fault is the rejection of the angel.
Probably it would be my fault;
My fault for being somewhat illiterate.
Thanks to the four minute helpline anyway
As we await our fitness report in time to come.
And the game has just begun.
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done
And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here
Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say
To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do
Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say
Light up, Light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
Louder, Louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak i understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say....
