Title: finale!-
Hey!
I was dead ytd. but everything's sooooooooo cool! (:
We, as in Nadine, Audrey n WeiQi, were extremely late when we were supposed to reach kallang by 7 to set up the games. But for whatever reason, we were still on the bus at 730. That's when nadine became very worried. plus the seniors wanted to cut some programmes, this stressed her out eventually cos she never wanted to cancel anything. thankfully audrey was so calm with everything and her "never mind, i can manage attitude". I somehow found it amusing when nadine made everyone feel the pressure yet cheeko was in her slow and steady mode. Def somfing to learn from!! (:
So our first activity as shiok house was dragon boating. Real sadly, I couldn't be with my class since it could fit 23 people - su, mr aaron n 21 ppl from the class. But joining krygs maj joy chuan with t7 people was equally fun! cos chuan gave them a cheer like this "one up! two up! three up! four up! five up! six up! seven up! what's up!!" smth that's so much coincidence n useful in times like this. Anyway, in this boat. I've got this robert as instructor again, same as last year. wow! out of the so many instructors out there! but this time he introduced us new terms. there's the midpack, backpack, boosters n some other term in front! i forgot btw. haha, the 'backpack' word just never stopped me n this j1 grace (from my ig) from laughing!! haha :D
As for the bonding games, it's so cool for mr aaron to join into the starch attack game. he's the class' ht n that game's about stringing up everyone dipped into disgusting fluids through the sleeves. eww right? meanwhile. the highest footline game just got me stare at the team in amazement. really. cos they're just so blessed to have someone (this girl called michelle) who can do a split! just imagine how we tried without anyone like that during the facils training!
The last part was the best. really!
I loved our entrance for finale night. It was truly short n sweet with our pck music that just had this funny element to all other houses' serious entrance n ultimately grand music. and the coolest is that we brought out the anti-climax!! esp the first drum rolling, it was so funny!!! then the "piack" sound with our plates. super la!!
The comic relief by michael n anthea was the "wow" of the night. The effect of that was so influential that it's somehow similar to those good movies out there; you might not remember every single bit of detail throughout the show, but any line from there you could immediately tell what it is about. Their theme for it was ppt about school rules. In fact i remembered them talking about the escape routes, things to drink before lectures, introducing authoritative figures, attire n how to avoid gettin a spoilt day at school n just after school. it's just like whatever we've heard for the past year was smashed into one session at finale night! SUPER FUNNY!
Our cheers part was simply the best. I said it once before but i think we did a great job cos of nicole n joc for all those meaningful lines n cheesy ones that still rings in my head when previously i had to stare at the words yet still don't get whether they would sound nice. I'll post the cheers some other day! (:
I also liked some parts where the j1s put up a skit. ours was so awesome such that they used the mocca advertisement by takin' off one guy's shirt. good thing's that we didn't get scolding for that, in fact we had a good laugh! :) basically all the skits were interesting, really all. just that i thought voila's one was a little too long n the excitement die-ded for a while. ya. but i kinda liked the way they interpreted other houses' themes rather well. or maybe not too well, but the general idea was there i guess. anw, i prefered that ole (green) had the idea of using red (my house's colour! haha) card to the things they didn't like about the skit. It put a smile to me which was rather new to me. I never knew they'd try to cross the colour border! hahaha! :D
alright. that was it. thank goodness tiff listened to me about the story just before finale night. i always wanted to let it out about the truth rather than people seeing the surface which is often false or forced. anw, i dunno whether what i'm doing is right for me. i'm merely trying to balance things out on my own. but if i can't do it on my own, i'll just stop playing this rubber band.
till then, bye! (: smile!!
yup, so that's what happened (:

HEY EVERYONE!
Someone somehow at somewhere decided to find out on something somewhat sounded like the 'random quote of the day' at sometime of the day.
Never believe anything until it has been officially denied.
~Claud Cockburn (1904 - 1981)
So yes! You should be feeling optimistic about whatever that comes in life and NEVER BE AFFECTED BY THOSE WHO DEMORALISE YOU! STUDY HARD K! (:
