Title: Encouragement-

it's retreat yest.
there're tons of fun things, like having ppl in my grp 17. nadine, erika, nicholas, ian, milu, bianca, kelvin n me!!
it's very heartening that no one actually isolated me since i'm not a catholic n knew nuts about some things.
thankfully, fantastic facil. valerie. put me into active participation n tried to include me in some grp things.
some activities were very insightful, made me re-think into my life n some who seem to be weak at times.
despite during a talk when i dozed off a little...
SO, people were asking me if i'm interested in being baptised (i have no idea if i'm spelling it right, sorry!).
but the thing's that mum n dad aren't really into supporting me in this!
anw, moments ago, i tried to convince dad with what i learnt these two days to stay a little positive in life instead of being so critical in his word when telling abt his life at work.
here's the convo.
"hey dad, i'm just thinking if you can stay a little optimistic in life? (he was complaining about the food in the coffee shop nearest to my house to MUM n I, not to the shop keeper. yet he always go to that same old place...)"
"well, i go by my principle... trying to help others. actually, i'm envious of your aunt... (yes, digressing...)"
"or can you try to think things in a better way?"
"i'm already at my best. btw, if one day you see me getting a complete change and care nothing in this world, you might just see me (does a gesture of jumping off a building) like that you know?"
"but.. i'm not asking you to be totally different. i'm hoping you can try. or have you tried this before?"
"(not answering me) well, you won't understand what i'm doing...(then started to read his textbook in tax or smth...)"
"... (finished my drink n tears were kinda flowing out while drinking. mum was kinda trying to strike a convo about where i'm gonna study later. i kept total silence. perhaps she saw. anw, left the both of them immediately aft the drink."
i never stopped crying. that's when i thought of what i planted in the tree yest. 'avoid quarrels with mum n dad'... ya, there's a mini quarrel, n now prolly a cold war. i have abs no idea how to keep a commitment. what i hoped was to try tell dad what i learnt n what he could learn too. but apparently he took things wrongly. hey anyone out there! tell me what insensitive thing i've done!!!!!!! Arghhhh!!! !~@#)!!
so, dad n mum just came by n saw me crying. yea, she's tearing too. but dad said this "so it's bcoz of that!??" both then left. n dad shouted this at the damn bloody top of the freaking voice " the both of you are mad!!"
i dunno. i really wish if i can counsel him...
btw, praise me for the vulgarities i used... i mean, not so offensive right? :P
